tmd_226 Don't be sorry!! They are super cute! Just not on me. I am really picky about clothes on me. That is why most things in my closet are NWOT or worn once. I really should know better then to buy without trying on first. Thanks so much for understanding. You do a great job on your pictures. I am still working on getting that down!

chirocarly @janeibrahim hi!! Thanks again for the amazing shares. I think your closet looks great. All buyers are different, but I am a big fan of natural light, clear photos. So the hollister top you have... the picture is great. Some of your pictures are a bit dim, but overall it looks great. Pricing is good, descriptions are good. Keep sharing your items!!

chirocarly @janeibrahim oh yes you may have had someone report their purchase as "not as described". Did they not tell you that? You would have gotten an email from,posh. Ya it takes some,time, but they will resolve it soon. Worst case,scenario they will send your item back.

What is the secret to getting host picks, and is it that important? What do you have to do when you host a party? At what point do you need a business license? Your closet is lovely. chirocarly @jdorsch hi! Thank YOU. I’ve had lots of host picks and never sold an item because of it. It’s really great for closet exposure though. I think it’s best to congratulate the host a couple days before their party and share a few of their items. Hosting a party is pretty easy. Have you requested to host a party yet? There are a couple of poshers who have listings in their closets about hosting, like @meg23

chirocarly @jdorsch I’m not sure how much income you have to have from a hobby for it to be taxable. That you may be able to google. I obtained a business license mostly so I could purchase wholesale items.

poshwithmeyall @chirocarly I haven't requested to host yet. Been thinking about it. Wasn't sure what was really involved. I work full time and travel so I wanted to know more. I love Poshing and can see this being full time when I retire. It's so much fun. I am also trying to figure out the best way to procure items to sell. I've tried several ways and all the items sell. I average about the same net profit per item regardless of where I buy it.

chirocarly @jdorsch you should totally host. You can request the evening party when they give you an option. And if the date doesn’t work, they may be able to give you another date. It is really fun. If you live in an area with good thrift shops pop in every so often and see what you can find. It’s the thrill of the hunt 😉

chirocarly @aunaturale1981 I use a photo editing app called cymera. There are several apps that people use but I'm happy with cymera. Cymera doesn't offer backgrounds to choose from though so you would have to use your own pics.

amg27 I love the idea of sharing what your closet has to offer! And you have great taste! I’ve only been selling for about 3 weeks. I had 3 sales in the first week, but nothing since. Does that happen?? I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong. Every time someone likes an item, I send them an offer with reduced or free shipping.
