mkroach101 @gailsjewels there are no distinct tags or markings. It is very well made. I paid much for it on an eBay auction as it was advertised as "Brighton", but when I received it didn't have any Brighton markings. Fairly heavy with very intricate detail - a very lively piece. Hope this helps
