Harmony Kingdom‎ Clair de Lune Colette & Cat Limited Edition 641/3600

Here is a Harmony Kingdom Limited Edition from the Clair de Lune Series that was released in June 2000. There were two versions made of this box figurine; this one is called "Colette & Cat". Each figure in this series has a back story, and Colette's story is that she became a ghostwriter for a former princess's memoirs, and made friends with the Left Bank literati. Colette became the thinly disguised heroine of at least six novels and scores of memoirs. Colette's own memoirs were banned in the USA, but sell well in France. This box figurine features Colette taking a bubble bath in a very ornate bathtub decorated with fish. The tub is gold trimmed with silver. Colette's cat is holding on to her arm that has reached out for a towel. Remove the top of bubbles and you will find Colette wearing a bikini and a gold necklace. This figure was retired in 2001.
