@blackcherry7 Happy New Year Kathy! how are the Lanvin flats treating you? My patent ones did require a little break in ... but only on one side (the foot that is slightly bigger). I've been wearing the suede cap toe ones like crazy that they are broken in and comfortable now. I need to switch off. I hope you didn't give up on them because they truly feel amazing!

@vivacouture Hope Evan enjoyed his Christmas! I knew and felt like I needed to. I'm so happy I did because back at work today and felt much better knowing we just lived a very slow life the last couple of weeks. lots of warm meals, lots of walks, and just being there. It drives me nuts when my 16 year old is only half listening or not listening because he's got his face buried in his phone. I do the same and it felt so good to be there - mind and all =) I'm glad to see everyone tried taking a little bit of a break! Yes, la la land trip in 2014 is a must.

Zoe has been waking up in the middle of the night so we've been exhausted! For two weeks straight, she throw her blanket over the crib and then cries her cute little eye balls out! she cries for her and her blanket to be rescued!! @reinadeltoro @moonbunnytoo @3bugmama anyone go through this? She's always slept in her crib and through the night. No problem falling asleep but she wakes up and sacrifices her blanket!

So this happened to us too. I think it's some kind of separation anxiety or cry for attention as the little people demand attention. With the "Queen Bee" it was her lovey. She would throw it out and then cry for it. Wait for us to pick it up and do it again. A few nights, she sounded like the exorcist. Trick is...we started not to respond as fast. We realized she was doing it for a reaction. Try not to make a big deal out of her actions. At one point, I would stay in the room to throw it back in her crib or make it so she couldn't throw it out. It would make her angry, but she'd go back to sleep with some coaxing. All I can say is it will pass. It could have been teething pain and she couldn't handle it. check for that too. We gave extra cuddles, tlc and tried not to overreact and maybe you could tie it to the crib bars so she can't throw it out? Hope you guys get some sleep.

@camposcc I'm sorry babe , haven't had my babes do anything like that . My girl amalya does that at times (removes her clothes , diaper , lovey , and blanket and throws it all over ) but that's only when she really doesn't want to nap and screams to be removed . But never at night π

@camposcc my son does the same to his lovey as @reinadeltoro noted, but we quickly leaned he just wanted attention or not to sleep at that time , so we went in twice to give lovey back and tuck in and snuggle but that's it . He stopped around 16 months but does it from time

I couldn't agree more ! Being mindful and less technology is so good for the soul and mental health ! Evan is great just always surprising us with his wisdom and wise questions ! I have to take mini breaks because I am in closet cleaning mode which doesn't seem to end for me !! De cluttered is my resolution every year !
