Handwoven Guatemalan Textile Fringe Tablecloth Coverlet Green 33 x 74 Birds Cat

This is a beautiful traditional handwoven cotton Guatemalan textile, perfect for use as a tablecloth, coverlet for the foot of a bed, curtain panel, etc. The fabric is in very good condition without any soiling, holes, etc. There may be a few slubs in the fabric, as is common for hand loomed fabrics. The fabric is pretty thin, I believe it is the type of fabric traditionally used for womens' cortes (traditional Guatemalan skirts). The colors are vibrant green, red, orange, white, and black. The motif includes bands of birds and cats. Color is most accurately represented in the photos of the fabric draped over a chair with the black background. Measurements: 33" wide by approximately 74" long (including fringe) I have more Guatemalan textiles in my closet and am happy to bundle items for you.
