Handwoven Fringed Textile

Lovely handwoven fabric with fringe about 10-1/2” wide and about 68” long - for a wrap, scarf, wall hanging, or maybe a table runner? Was a gift long ago, had it cleaned, and then it has sat in my cedar chest for a long time - time for a new home! Looks like the fringe was trimmed on one end but not the other! Maybe wool and other yarn. The elderly woman who gave it to me was well-traveled so it may have been a souvenir from a foreign destination.
