Hand-painted Wooden Holiday repurposed Pelt Hide Stretcher Retro Kitschy Decor

This is a wooden Christmas decoration made from an Antique Fur Pelt Hide Skin Tanning Stretcher Board, featuring painted holly and ribbons. The decoration has the phrases "Welcome to Our home" and "Merry Christmas" hand painted on the item as well. Measures approx. 35 5/8” long x 3 7/8” wide at top. Shows wear and markings due to age and use of the original item adding to its character. These wooden stretchers are still used today, but this was purchased in northern Michigan where this item was used many decades ago.
