This gorgeous vintage lustreware bowl features an opalescent base with intricate handpainted floral designs, a hallmark style of Noritake artist Helen Kircher. Marked with the Noritake green cherry blossom mark that was implemented between 1924 and 1935. These pieces were subcontracted to independent companies then imported to the U.S. market.
The piece is large and display-worthy, measuring about 11" across and 3.5" high, with black handles that show some wear—possibly original to its vintage condition. A stunning collectible for lovers of Japanese porcelain and lustreware.
