Handpainted Aardvark earrings sterling wires flowers dirt pig Africa wildlife

What are my newest designs! I’ve hand painted these adorable baby aardvarks earrings on watercolor paper, the used two part resin for durability. It’s not too often you see aardvarks Jewelry! In Afrikaans, aardvark means dirt pig, due to their continuous, digging for insects. Look at those claws! They are insectivores , have a long, sticky tongue similar to an anteater, and are rarely seen in the wild, mostly due to their shy nocturnal nature. I was lucky enough to see one on Safari two years ago in Zambia! First time in over 25 Safaris! So here you have it! The wires are sterling silver, and the charm is a metal flower, they hang about 2 inches long. Check out my other aardvark designs in my closet.
