Handmade in Ecuador Single/Double Strand Red Beaded Artisan Choker Necklace

Lovely polished round and barrel trade beads in a beautiful rustic true red Ecuadorian Artisan made necklace. This neckpiece can be worn as single or double strand using the simple hook finding that attaches directly to the hemp thread on which the beads are strung. The round beads are graduated with small spacer beads. Copper metal hand engraved cross hangs in the center of the first strand when worn doubled with the feature bead and metal on the longer strand of the two. When worn as a single strand, either the cross or the feature bead can be worn in the centre, with the thread (please note wear) on either side. The measurement of the necklace is 36 inches end to end. The condition is nice with wear and patina consistent of a pre-loved piece of its nature and time. Artisan made by the indigenous people of Ecuador and purchased there back in the 60's.
