Handmade blanket cardigan

Whenever I’m donating things I always wonder if I could make something out of them before they leave my house. Especially with blankets…and so I did make something fun with this Biederlack made in USA blanket from the 80s. It’s a great house coat, I added pockets on this self drafted design. Note inner seams aren’t “finished” but fabric is stable (e.g. it shouldn’t unravel). Ptp is 24 inches, top shoulder seam to bottom hem is ~38 inches.
