Handmade Shell Earrings

I made three pairs like this. This is my last pair. I filed, sanded down ruff edges, glazed the oyster shell, and drilled where I needed too. I can change the hooks to “clip ons” if desired. I gathered broken shells from Bolinas California. Some people look for perfect whole shells. I like the broken ones. I feel like it is more the story of us. It is our flaws, brokenness, and survival that make us beautiful. The bottom layer is oyster shell, I love to eat oysters:) from Hog Island. NEW
