Handmade Indian Coiled Basket, One of a kind Handwoven Native American Basket

This long coil basket was made by hand following the traditional Indian basket weaving method. I call this basket my “Year Long” basket because it has 12 beads on each handle, which symbolize the 12 months of the year. 14” inches length 4 inches wide 2.5” deep This coiled basket is made completely by hand, using rush, yellow iris and seagrass. This basket was labor intensive, take two weeks to finish. Perfect as a catch-all, or could be used to hold your loose jewelery or makeup brushes.
