Hand-made, Hand decorated Ornament

I hate to throw anything away that could have a second life as something completely different. This is what Upcycling, and DIY are all about in my opinion This started off as a sweatshirt cuff. Don't remember if the sleeves were too long or if I just didn't like the casual look of a cuffed sleeve, hmmm they also could have been stretched out.... Anyway, the ball this ornament is made from was a lowly piece of sweatshirt Me goofing around at it's finest, I thought hmmm....non-breakable ornaments, let's really get to work on it This is the finished ornament - I used lace, strands of beads, beads, mini hand crocheted flat flowers (at the ends, the red) The whole idea is it would be safe from breakage and squishy - the kids could definitely help put this on the tree. Still, you need to take caution as it could be a choking hazard for little children and pets. Supervise them if they are playing with the ball PLEASE! The difference in colors are from - more yellowish cast f from desk lamp and the whiter one is the overhead LED lighting. It looks a touch cream in natural light.
