Handknit Alpaca Cardigan with Pear Motif By Peruvian Perfection

If you enjoy a bit of whimsy in your knitwear, check out this pear motif button-up cardigan from Peruvian Perfection (which is not affiliated with Peruvian Connection). Pretty fall shades of green, gold, and terra cotta play off of a black background. The coordinating buttons pick up the colors. 100% alpaca. (Did you know that alpaca is hypoallergenic?) Armpit to armpit approx. 22" flat. Back neck to hem approx. 26". Boxy fit. Toasty warm! Bought new by me in the early 00s, this sweater is heirloom quality, unique, and special. I wore it a lot and loved it--it was something of a signature piece--but as I reach the end of my career it's time to let some things go. No holes, stains, smells, snags. Mending yarn and extra button are sewn into the side seam.
