Handcrafted Enamel & Silver Lotus Flower 3-dimensional ring, adjustable band,

A handcrafted, three-dimensional sterling silver and enamel ring, set with aqua chalcedony stones. The sterling is hallmarked (.95) and the band is adjustable. This ring is an abstract lotus, with a pale green enamel interior and pale yellow and pink enamel "petals" that roughly mimic a Mughal tower and meet in the center with a tiny sterling ornament over the chalcedony. Across cultures, the lotus is a symbol of purity, strength, resilience and rebirth The diameter of the lotus is approximately 1.5 inches. The height from the silver platform to the peak of the center ornament is roughly 1/3 inch. Created by artisans in Rajasthan, India, the ring shows some Mughal design elements, the lotus being a popular motif in the desert state of Rajasthan and the shape of the petals being reminiscent of the decorative archways and carved window screens of ancient desert palaces. It's a very comfortable ring to wear, unique and eye-catching. Not a ring you will see on any other person's hand!
