Hand-carved vintage wood box w/ latch, sewing items

As-found contents, quite old sewing supplies, particularly lots of needles. Interesting carving/tooling throughout, with the sides having an attractive swooping foliage pattern that does not look freeform, and the top having a flat shield-like space probably for personalization. Measurements approximately 6.25” by 5.75” by 2.25” high.
