Hand Painted ( Meissen Copy) Victorian Boy with basket of Grapes Figurine

This beautiful vintage figurine is a near duplicate of Johann Joachim's figurine of boy with two baskets of grapes. Age unknown. I researched this figurine and kept finding the Meissen figurine that is worth $1200. There were a few differences like pant color and no flowers at the feet. It is a great facsimile hand painted and very nicely gilt like the original one. This is in great vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. It is stamped on the base, Hand Painted Japan. Measures 10 1/4 inches tall. Pieces marked Japan were made and imported after .1921. All occupied Japan pieces were marked occupied Japan. Some were simply marked Japan or Made in Japan. Non-smoking pet-free home.
