Vintage ~1940’-50’s “Black Eye” Ballerina Bear by a Barrel Glazed Ceramic Planter Hand Painted - Perfectly Imperfect!* Popular Mold that was made in Japan Unsure if this was a Hobbyist Piece ?? Pale Yellow & White with Black colors Approx 5.5” wide x 4.5” tall x 2” across *Paint job a bit off on eyes OR she really has a black eye;) Small piece of ceramic on side (pic) Divot on rim of barrel- glazed, not a chip-pic Some discoloration spots(pic) AND residual color clay inside planter- didn’t remove for risk of breakage. Quirky Piece in need of a new home! Flawed (mostly manufacturing) Vintage Condition
