Hand Knitted Cable Knit Sweater by Carraig

Offering a lovely cable knit sweater by Carraig. Handmade in the Republic of Ireland, this sweater is a wonderful example of the craftsmanship that is sought after in owning a handmade Irish garment. This item is ecru in color in the Aran style of heavily textured, patterned knitting that originated in the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. It is made of 100% new wool & has a crew neck, long sleeves, button front with wood/leather-like buttons, two front pockets, and the original tag at the neck. It is a vintage, preowned estate find in VG condition. The size tag has been removed, but it measures approximately 22” pit to pit, 27” shoulder to hem, and a sleeve length of 18” from pit to wrist.
