Hand Crafted Vintage Mother of Pearl Inlaid Quartz Pieces Chess Set

Very good preowned condition. Chest set, possibly made in Egypt consists of quartz and mother pearl in laid squares and quartz hand carved pieces. A few squares have marks on them, but otherwise this is a beautiful set. The board is trimmed in wood and sit in a wood base. Each piece is it easily identifiable. The pieces fit nicely and elasticized loops on the top of the case and the board fits nicely in the bottom. The case is lined in velvet. There is a gold tone clasp closure. Board measures approximately 8 in.² and each piece varies in size but are approximately one and a half inches tall this is a great set to have open in your living area for anyone to sit down and make a move.
