Hand Crafted Art Pottery Vessel, Large Studio Ceramic Vase, Signed Win Fantastic piece of hand crafted studio art pottery, etched "Win" on the base. It is glazed in a translucent white stoneware, with a colorful addition of an abstract design on the front in shades of copper, rust, tan, green, blue and purple. I am not certain of the artist, although the signature looks very much like that of the mid-century ceramics artist Win Ng (of Taylor and Ng fame), it could also belong to a more contemporary art potter, possibly Florida sculptor and potter Win Blazier who also has a similar mark. This is quite a large, heavy piece. It measures about 8 inches wide and 7 inches tall, and weighs almost 5 pounds without packaging. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It will be double-boxed and packaged very securely for shipping.
