Hammered Aluminum Round Serving Tray, Poor Mans Silver circa 30-50s Scroll motif

Wonderful large and in-charge intricately embossed hammered aluminum piece. I date this to the earlier productions of the 30s. That said, LOOK CLOSE at the pictures. There’s an edge that has an ever so slight bend. Offering this tray, because she’s just too nice, slight bend and all. Sits level for happy serving! Hammered aluminum is often referred to as "poor man's silver" because it was a popular and affordable alternative to silver, especially from the 1930s through the 1950s.
