Hammered Aluminum, Poor Mans Silver Oval Handeled Serving Tray circa 30-50s

Oval serving tray with handles...showing lots of surface hazing from years of service. More than likely its from water sitting on it. Potted plants water residue, perhaps. I love the patina... Im sure she can be buffed to a high gloss. I love her how she is... Hammered aluminum is often referred to as "poor man's silver" because it was a popular and affordable alternative to silver, especially from the 1930s through the 1950s.
