@misseo913 Hi there! Yes the mixer is 100% functional, and beaters stay in place as long as they are placed in their respective holes. ;)

@misseo913 To further explain, each set of beaters has one beater with a small round piece on the shaft that determines which hole it belongs in. Look closely at the pic with the beaters and you’ll see what I mean. If you have any add’l questions, I’m happy to answer.
