This is a vintage 2000s Royal Haeger Soft Blue Matte Speckled Neoclassical Art Pottery Urn Vase! Royal Haeger pottery was made in Dundee, Illinois and closed operations in 2016. Haeger and Royal Haeger pieces have become highly sought after and collectible in recent years. Haeger became known for its glazes--collectors still marvel at the sheen, depth of color, and durability. This small piece has a Greek-inspired neoclassical design in a soft blue color with dark speckles and matte finish. Features a pedestal style base with ribbed bowl and fluted opening. A spectacular vase, perfect for display on a nightstand, bookshelf or mantel!💕 Company History: David H. Haeger, a German immigrant, became part owner of the Dundee Brickyard in 1871, a key brick supplier that helped Chicago rebuild after the Great Fire. Within a year, Haeger was sole owner and had extended the business to include tiles. By the 1920s, production expanded to include teaware, luncheonware, crystal and glassware. In 1934, Royal Arden Hickman joined the firm to design a line of artware sold under the brand name "Royal Haeger". The sleek Greek-inspired design set the bar for high quality and crisp aesthetics.
