This is the "Merry Christmas" Christmas Bone China Pie/Cake Server by Mikasa! This piece is a beautiful example of their bone china Christmas line. Made in Japan, the festive "Merry Christmas" pattern was introduced in 1987 and retired in 1997. Oblong shaped cake server is made of fine white bone china and decorated with two children looking at a beautiful Christmas tree! The end of the handle is painted in tan gingerbread color with a blue curved line. Back is undecorated and includes built in feet and marked: "Mikasa Bone China Merry Christmas Japan".
