newlynelson @mommalis can you please go tell carlym5 that her Posie k and candy k metal mattes are a counterfeit? I was going to tell her that there is no way she bought it as a “limited Edition” item because it has NEVER been made. There was a website made to look identical to hers but that was selling counterfeits at cheaper prices a while back and may have been purchased from there, but Kylie has never made those shades into metal mattes.

I could tell hers were fake bc the color indicator on the liner was too long and you could see that black end of the pencil through the plastic color indicator and with Kylie’s you can’t. newlynelson @morganlynelle yes if you get a fake, do not “accept” it like you normally would. Instead Select “problem with order/inquiry” and use any points and pictures you need to explain it’s a fake to Poshmark. They’ll issue a refund and have you send it back

morganlynelle @norcalstyles I was finally sold a fake product. 😢 I accepted the order before comparing it to my real products and then I sent them an email. The box is different, no serial number on the lipstick, and the stock was white. The eyeliner did I have a serial number though. It seems odd too because the lipstick was only “used twice” by the seller but it is basically gone.

morganlynelle @newlynelson both the lip liner and lipstick are fake. The other one that might be fake is from someone else but everything on the eyeliner checks out and the lipstick except the lipstick doesn’t have an engraved serial number.

newlynelson @morganlynelle not usually. They may but most of the ones I have encountered either smell fruity like tutty fruity gum or like chemicals. If it’s a really old one it may not have a serial number because she didn’t do that right away. Check my other listing for other specific info of what to look for

norcalstyles @morganlynelle no I do not. I have a true brown K gloss just the gloss BUT it's a fake lol... I've even been taken for a fool so it happens. These people know they are selling fakes too it's just sad that we don't know we're buying them. So I did extensive research and found the differences between real ones and fake ones. If I come across it I'll let you know! My closet has some other Kylie Cosmetics though! ❤️

What is odd is the eyeliner in the lip kit looks legit with a serial number engraved. Just the lipstick seems fake and the box. Then I have this other lip liner that I think is legit but the engraving is not as deep. It is a velvet though and all the rest I have are mattes. The lip lstick and box for that kit seems legit.

My selection isn't huge but brown sugar is a nice tone next to true brown k if you ever want that one as well! I'm not sure if the deepness of the engraving is an issue. Usually fakes don't have any serial numbers on them

newlynelson @drward they won’t. They’ll let them keep selling their stuff. It’s really annoying. I have asked poshmark NUMEROUS times why they don’t take down closets who have been proven to sell counterfeits. They just respond with “that’s private information” or “you don’t need to be concerned with other closets”.

Most of the time we get a positive response where people didn’t realize they were fake and take them down. Then we get the bad eggs who KNOW they are selling fakes but are purposefully trying to rip people off, like the woman you bought from.
