HOW I GRADE MY VINTAGE ITEMS

Hey-o! Please keep in mind that all vintage Poshmark sellers are NOT the same, so my terms and approach are solely my own. End of lecture about THAT. Keep in mind that VINTAGE items are AT LEAST 20 years old and may be up to 100 years old, as at the 100 year-plus mark, items become "antiques". I use the term RETRO to describe a MODERN/CONTEMPORARY item that takes inspiration or harkens back to VINTAGE style/design sensibilities. Keeping in mind that VINTAGE IS NOT NEW and having understanding around that, as well as appreciating the item's long history and possible stories is part and parcel of loving and wearing vintage items. I will always point out any issues or areas of concern, and you are always welcome to ask questions. I rank my articles using the following definitions. Mint. New and unused. Still has tags attached, et cetera. Near Perfect. Shows only the slightest signs of being worn. Excellent. Shows typical, although minor, signs of wear. Very Good. Considered wearable but has some surface flaws i.e. staining, soiling or color issues (slight fading, slight dye transfer) Most issues can be addressed with laundering. Good. Requiring some repair, replacement (such as missing a button) or treatment prior to wearing, shows visible signs of wear such as piling. Poor. Shows significant signs of wear. Generally I don't list items in poor condition but in some cases, material can be used for crafts.
