@daisy_111 Hi Renee :) Let me know if you have any questions about the dress! After living in NYC for 7 years and working in and out of a few industries, I could easily outfit 50 women head to foot in pretty great clothes so I have a lot to sell! And I love finding super happy homes for my pieces--living in New York gives one a lot of opportunity to curate an amazing closet. Happy weekend!

@pinkpearls09 Thank you so much for your shares n love ππ! And yes, I so love Butter dresses! I have a couple more that I'm going to list. I have one of the gowns in the most etheric steely purple grey satin. It is brand new, so gorgeous but I haven't worn it so it needs a new home. I also have a striped gown and a couple of the traditional shorter length. Amazing and classic and perfect for anytime of year. It's one of the must have pieces for any woman who needs a great dress once in a while. Happy day to you!!

pinkpearls09
@dreambigger I'll have to check them out when you post them! I have 5 or 6 of her dresses....they are so comfy! But mine don't get as much love as they should :(. Do you do pp? Also, I saw in another post you might get rid of some lulu wu?
May 22Reply

pinkpearls09
@dreambigger What's your lowest on this? And do you take pp?
May 31Reply

dreambigger
@pinkpearls09 Hi there! I apologize--I thought I had responded to your inquiry about Lulu WUs. I'm not going to list any right now. I thought that I had a few more than I can currently find. I moved recently and we're getting ready for renovations so there are certain things that are packed away and I can't get to at the moment. And I don't take PP--pretty sure it's against Posh policy. I respect that this is someone's brainchild and I'd rather them make the profit for providing a place for others to buy and sell, explore ways to buy items at lower than retail, make sure we are all wasting less by not having to buy new etc...it's a great service that Posh provides and I'm going to color inside the lines here π. My rock bottom lowest price on this dress is $80. It's really darling and anyone who buys it will get a lot of wear out of it--really would love for someone to have it and love it. I honestly thought someone would snap it up for $100 without a second thought. Apparently not that many Poshers know BBN or this would be gone. If your espadrilles were a 7 I would have traded :-/
May 31Reply

dreambigger
@pinkpearls09 Lovely, I didn't mean to sound so "big sisterly" about why I don't do Posh. Several people recently have wondered why I don't take it and I guess I'm a little confused about why more people don't think about the fact that there's a reason that Posh has created this marketplace. I know it's a decent percentage that they take but this is also a super unique facility that we all have to be able to negotiate if we want to and even trade items etc, ask questions about fit, condition etc. so I apologize if it sounded condescending in any way--certainly wasn't meant to be. I so hope you want the dress--simply because I think you would love it and enjoy it so much!

pinkpearls09
@dreambigger No worries girl! I really do want it! Do you possibly have a pic with you wearing it?

Jun 02Reply

dreambigger
@danamurray and @pinkpearls09 Well at least this dress will find a good home! I have other BBN to list, but none like this one. @danamurray If you're interested in BBN, I have one of her convertible wrap dresses that I'm going to list. I'll likely list the "Gown" in a gorgeous satin. It's never been worn. I have a ton to list but I'm going out of town on Thursday and I don't know if I'll have a chance to do so before I leave. Let me know if you want me to tag you when I list new pieces. Happy to do so, Lovelies! β€ππSarah
Jun 02Reply

pinkpearls09
@dreambigger If you could tag me in new listings that would be great :). @danamurray The satin wrap gowns that shes talking about are gorgeous! You can wear them so many different ways! If I happen to list any of my Butter dresses I'll let you know as well :).

@danamurray @pinkpearls09 I'm loving Posh more and more as I'm meeting so many great Poshers π Happy Sunday!!
Jun 02Reply

danamurray
@dreambigger yes, that would be great! I am still contemplating the Tibi dress. My only hesitation is that I don't look good with belting things. It's so great though that I'd risk trying!
Jun 02Reply

dreambigger
@danamurray Honestly, it's one of the most versatile things I own. There's enough fabric to work with and either pull around to the front, gather in back or arrange it evenly depending on what works best for you. I want people to be delighted with their transactions and their purchases, and this is one that I know will be a treasure for the buyer. I think you know I'm not saying this just to sell it--it really is beautiful. And I just dropped the price on the Tibi. Ready for things to go to happy homes and super joyful wearers π
Jun 02Reply

dreambigger
@danamurray And Lovely, I'll be traveling from the 6th-17th. Just wanted to let you know that I won't be shipping in that time period most likely, unless my mother(an absolute Saint!), can ship for me.
Jun 02Reply

danamurray
@dreambigger ok - thanks! Would you lower to 100?
Jun 03Reply

dreambigger
@danamurray I just lowered it to $120 from $150 yesterday and it's never even been worn, although I did handwash it. It turned out right after I bought it that my sister had one too so we let this one stay in it's garment bag. $120 is a super price on it--I'm raising money for some great causes so I'm trying to make the most that I can while still giving great deals--I'll go to $115 for you. I promise that you will love it. It also looks great pinned if you don't want to belt it. A vintage pin on the back is an unexpected detail to add. It looks great with an interesting pin.

@pinkpearls09 Christa, I feel like such a jacka$$. Yesterday was an absolute zoo. We're in the middle of prepping for renovations, having work done on the roof, and I have to go out of town in a day. Today in my desire to make sure your dress was absolutely A-list perfection I noticed one tiny fuzz on the dress and I turned on my fabric shaver. My sister said, "I think it's probably fine" and as soon as she had said that it picked up the fabric and put the tiniest cut in it. I feel like such a jerk. I am super gentle with fabrics--it's rare that I tear or rip or cut anything. Years in design have resulted in me wearing gloves when handling some pieces--seriously. I've seen dresses that retail for $10-15K be flawed in a second because someone's hands were super rough. So I'm careful. The shaver didn't remove any of the fabric at all. It's the tiniest cut and the very best way to fix it is to sew teensy stitches in it. I'm going to do it by hand, and I'll send you pics of the sewn spot. You can decide if you'd like the dress. It will be hardly noticeable because it's really, really tiny--maybe just barely 1/4". I feel like such a ninny. I just wanted it to be perfect--sometimes my desire to make sure that everything is in the greatest and highest integrity possible results in me tending to be a bit OCD/perfectionist. My sincere apologies. I'm happy to either give you a discount on something else or send you a check with the dress for a bit of savings on it. I have a BBN wrap dress in great condition, only worn 2 times for a few hours each time. It's purple, and a really versatile shade. I was going to list it for $150 but I would happily sell it to you for $120. Just let me know what feels best for you. Again, I apologize. --Sarah

@dreambigger Thanks for letting me know. I know you didn't mean to. Could you take a pic of it and where it's at possibly? I'm kinda anal and small things bug me just knowing its there. Is your other Butter dress the silk or jersey? We always have the option of canceling the order as well :)
Jun 05Reply

@pinkpearls09 Christa--again, I sincerely apologize. I left for Ireland the day after we were last in touch here and I didn't know that my comment hadn't posted properly. I had fixed the dress--it doesn't look bad and I'm particular also. I have photos of it but you can hardly see the stitching and the handiwork in the images. I am happy to ship it to you. If you don't like it you can return it. If you do like it, you keep it and I can send you a check for something like $15. I think that the dress is still worth a decent price. Just let me know. I'm still in Ireland but the dress can be shipped out as soon as I hear from you.

@pinkpearls09 Any thoughts on this, Lovely?
Jun 14Reply

pinkpearls09
@dreambigger Oops, sorry girl. Read your comment the other day and then got busy doing stuff that I forgot to write back. Where was the hole at? I would just feel bad if I got it and then wanted to return it back to you but if your ok with that you can send it to me :)
Jun 14Reply

dreambigger
@pinkpearls09 Hey Lovely--no worries ;) We're apparently both juggling in our lives. I've been in a pretty full-on workshop this week, so I've been short on time. The hole is sewn up. I am happy to send you pics. Would you like me to e-mail them to you? I can't even see it in the pics. It's right on the "tube" portion of the dress so on the top and on the front.

@earthtosophie Hi Sophie--I do actually have several BBN dresses to list. I have a purple dress in the "regular" length which I have worn maybe 2 times for only a few hours each time, and I have a brand new with tags gown in what I think is the most beautiful color in the satin that she makes. It's kind of a dark grey-ish with a super gorgeous set of undertones to the color and it's the satin so it looks absolutely amazing. Because it's the gown it's long an sweeping and has an even more glamorous skirt than the floor length "dress". When I bought it, it was the last one available in the color at the time and I noticed the teensiest snag in it. But it's so small that I can't find it in the dress now, and I have 20/20 vision. So the dress is in new condition. I'm just super into honesty so I wanted to give you the full story ππ. I have another BBN dress in a dark grey--it's my favorite. I think I've worn it once if at all, and I'm thinking about listing it simply because I don't have the occasion to wear it. I also have a few dresses that are super amazing jersey dresses--I can't remember the name of one of them but I have at least two Rachel Pally caftans to list. An they're nearly new. What size are you?

@dreambigger Thanks for getting back to me so quickly and all the details! I'm pregnant and have heard these dresses are great for maternity dresses. Haven't tried one before but super excited at all the possibilities! Pre-pregnancy my measurements were bust 33.5, waist 26, hip 36.5. I'm interested in the purple and dark grey. Is the purple bright or more like a plum? What would you price them at? Would you mind posting pictures? Thanks so much!!
Sep 18Reply

dreambigger
@earthtosophie My pleasure π!! And congratulations!! These dresses are great for every body at any stage, so you can wear them throughout your pregnancy but you will also feel wonderful in them as your body is shifting with the beauty of motherhood. One of the things that I love about Nadia's designs is that she designs to make women feel beautiful. Women GLOW when wearing her pieces, there is a strength and a super beautiful way that a woman holds herself when wearing something she loves, and I have always perceived that women feel more "woman" in their BBN pieces. I LOVE them. I just need to downsize my life right now and these dresses deserve to be worn. I'm sure I'll buy one again one day. I am travelling and I had to leave today, but I will ask my sister to take some pictures of the purple one and send them to me. I'm happy to send them to your e-mail. I'll see if she can find the grey one. I couldn't find it before I left--we're in the middle of prepping for renovations and I have a lot of things packed away. These dresses are in really great condition and even at her sample sale I think that they're around $175. If you buy one the price would be $115. Posh takes 20% so it really drops the profit which makes is fair for the service that they have created--and I love the community of women here :) so I like to support it by being active and selling here. Let me know if you have any other questions, Lovely!

Hi @ladyluck07 :) This dress is a one size fits most. The fabric itself is super versatile. It might work beautifully for you. I do have a few other pieces of hers--I have a few dresses that I haven't listed yet. What are you interested in?
Jan 26Reply

@ladyluck07 pretty sure many of Nadia Tarr's pieces are one size fits all. They stretch and drape accordingly. Her wrap dresses are def one size fits all.
