Manufacturer: H & K Tunstall, or Hollinshead & Kirkham, was a pottery company based in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England.  Design: The plate features the "Homestead" design, which depicts an English cottage in a garden setting.  Material: It is made of porcelain.  Purpose: These plates were often used as cake plates, sandwich plates, or dessert plates.  Era: This particular pattern, with its square shape and rococo border, was popular in the late 1920s and early 1930s, reflecting the Art Deco style of the era.  Grand Millennial style
