HELLZ BELLZ HLZBELZ A Crime For All Seasons Vintage from the "BORN BAD" 2008 Holiday Collection Striped Dolman Top / Sweatshirt Size Medium NWT Founded in 2005 by Lanie "Miss Lawn" Alabanza-Barcena, Hellz Bellz A Crime For All Seasons is a tribute to the non-conforming female of today. Taking the name HLZBLZ from the AC/DC track “Hells Bells,” the themes question society and authority and take inspiration from underground culture, music and film. This striped top/ sweatshirt is reminiscent of Joan Jett's edgy punky striped outfits of the 1970s. Rocker chicks love stripes didn't you know? They look so cool and are timeless paired with leather and denim. The sweep of the sleeve is accentuated by the way the striped fabric is cut and sewn vertical against horizontal. The fabric is a nice weight and resembles reverse cotton terry. Joan's top in the photos has padded shoulders whereas this has buttons on the shoulders can be left undone to reveal a bare shoulder. Joan's is cropped, whereas this is a longer tunic length to wear over leather pants, leggings or thigh high boots. Streetwear for women by a woman. Amazing concept. Not sure if HB is still in production. I think she's working for Vans now. NWT. Never worn. Excellent condition.
