For those of you unaware who Helene Arpels is she is a French Socialite born in Monte Carlo to aristocratic parents and was a model and very successful American jewelry and shoe designer. She was Jackie Kennedy Onasis' favorite shoe designer. And Jackie O wore many of her designs and she also designed custom shoes for the first Lady. We happened upon this pair and it is one of the finest examples of her work. This pair of shoes uses the finest materials including snakeskin and it is fully leather lined and has full leather soles. The footbed is metallic gold and the rest is green. There are about 10 different colors of snakeskin that make this a wonderful contemporary statement.
