HB Quimper Handpainted Plates // Set of 3 // Breton Woman

This set of three lovely ceramic plates was made by the HB factory of Quimper, France. They are all the same design, with a Breton woman and center, surrounded by a red and blue floral border. They measure just under 9.5" diameter, and all have significant chipping around the edge of the rim. Two of the plates have visible crazing. Undated, but most likely from the 1940s-1960s time period when this mark was used.
