bjeek It definitely depends on the brand. Recently purchased just Vionics and am always a 9.5 in that brand. Some tennis shoes or dress shoes in the padt have been a 9.

soshifiedx @bjeek same for me. I am a 7.5 and these fit me fine with regular socks, not like the thicker Hanes ones. With those licensed ankle socks it fits perfect
