Beautiful handcrafted and hand-painted terracotta pottery vase, signed “Kaja 97” on the base, dating this piece to 1997. The vase features bold Southwestern-style geometric bands in black, cobalt blue, sage green, and natural clay orange. The glaze is thick and glossy, with visible brush strokes and hand-applied raised detailing—typical of artisan pottery rather than mass-produced ware.
The body shows natural glaze crazing, which is common in older terracotta pieces and adds desirable vintage character. The clay is a rich reddish-orange earthenware, and the sculpted form has a wide, flared rim and rounded belly.
