HANDMADE GRAAL GLASS VASE, TULIPS ON BLUE BACKGROUND

Beautiful handmade vase of tulips on a background of sky blue with white clouds. Made in 2007. Year is etched on the bottom. The vase is approximately 7.5 inches tall, 5 inches at the widest point, 1.25 inches across the opening, and 3.5 inches at the base. The vase weighs approximately 3.5 lbs. Local PNW artist Beth Shira Carver (1943-2011) would paint on a glass "blank" using special paints. She then took it to Uptown Glassworks in Renton, WA, where glassblower Sean Kif would blow it into the shape you see. Beth was self-taught in the technique. it took her a couple of tries before she got it down, but she kept trying until she was happy with the results. The artist has signed in the painting, and the glassblower has etched his signature in the base. Others of her work are listed as well. Bundle and save!
