HAND-CUT 1969 SINGAPORE SEAHORSE COIN EARRINGS

These earrings were meticulously hand-drilled and hand-cut from a genuine 1969, 10 centavo coins from Singapore (1967-1985). This is the only coin to feature a Crowned Seahorse (Binomial Name: Hippocampus coronatus) that I know of. It is slightly larger in size to a US dime with a diameter of 19.41 mm and a thickness of 1.397 mm. Weight is 2.83 g. Earrings hang from open loops. Gift box included. Makes a fantastic gift to be passed down from generation to generation. These beautiful earrings are also a great gift for that coin enthusiast. The coin’s design engraver was Stuart Leslie Devlin, AO, CMG who is a significant contemporary gold and silversmith. Australian-born, he has designed coins for countries around the world, and became especially well known as London-based designer of gold and silver collector's items in the 1970s and 80s.
