HAND CARVED BIRD ON LOG SIGNED 1978 OLD FORGE NY

Vintage 1978 Old Forge NY hand carved wood bird on a log. Signed Mark Wilson. I'm not sure whether this is an amateur work or artisan crafted, but it is a lovely piece. One of my criteria for art is its touchability, and this piece fits that bill. The bird measures 7.5" in length, and the natural wood base measures 11" in length at the longest point.
