1) Fill a medium to large bowl with room temperature or cold water and add 1 tbsp of a gentle cleaner like Dr. Bronner’s. Submerge the hair and soak for 5-10 minutes. After soaking, gently work the soap through the areas needing it most (typically bangs and length) without scrunching or rubbing. Let it soak for an additional 5 minutes. 2) Remove the hair from the bowl and rinse with cold water while keeping it in an upright position to minimize tangling. 3) Refill the bowl with room temperature or cold water and add 1 tbsp of fabric softener to soften the synthetic fibers. Submerge the hair completely and soak for another 5-10 minutes. 4) Remove the hair and rinse again with cold water, maintaining the upright position to prevent tangling. 5) Pat the hair dry with a towel and gently squeeze out excess water.
