Gypsum Crystal (Desert Rose), Smoky Quartz, and Leopard Jasper Bead Necklace This is a one-of-a-kind handmade necklace with Gypsum Crystals, found in the Sahara Desert, and often called Desert Rose. The necklace is 18.5 inches with Smoky Quartz and Leopardskin Jasper. The toggle clasp is Sterling Silver. Some people feel that Gypsum symbolizes clarity and transformation. Smoky Quartz is associated with stability, protection, and cleansing. Condition is new with artist tag. This necklace is delivered in a blue, high quality gift box (5.25" x 3.75") with a silver elastic bow. Artist Statement: Martha has sold her handmade jewelry at the Harvard Museum of Natural History at their gift shop and at various craft stores and shows as EarthStone Jewelry. Her designs are one-of-a-kind and include many minerals as well as fossils and meteorites. Martha has been collecting minerals for most of her life. She went from finding agates on the shores of Lake Superior to collecting specimens from all over the world. She is also a collector of African, New Guinea, and Native American art.
