kristinazhylenk @shayzam there are absolutely no tears on the canvas nor the leather. I added a few more photos of what I think you are referring to. But it's part of the material and it's the same on both sides.

kristinazhylenk @shayzam it's definitely not damage because it's the exact same thing on both sides of the bag and I clearly remember it being there when it was purchased. I just don't see why there would be identical "damage" to both sides in the exact same spot
