These are authentic Gucci. I bought them secondhand a year ago after the original owner loved them well, and took them to my local cobbler to have the inside back heel stabilized (cannot fold down anymore to be a slide as a result as I wanted the shoe to feel more sturdy and secure). I also had the cobbler put a vibram sole saver on the bottom as shown to protect the leather, and I had him recushion the footbed. I spent a pretty penny buying these and getting them fixed up, but sadly they are too small (they are a size 38 but once the footbed was remade with more cushioning, they fit like a true 7.5). I loveeee these loafers, but haven’t really reached for them at all since they are a little small. Would love for them to be worn and enjoyed for a lifetime as Guccis are meant to be able to do! Please note the little scuffs here and there, these have been conditioned with mink oil to protect the leather.
