This lovely Henkel & Grosse Company necklace with turquoise color beads was likely produced and sold under their own name during the time they were also creating amazing pieces for Dior. The hallmark tag style indicates a necklace crafted from 1955 through 1979. Piece is undated, research provided conflicting info on when Grosse began dating their jewelry. Similar to fine jewelry, this 24 inch four-point chain has sought soldered end rings, and a smooth feel that makes me think It’s likely gold plated. However, I am not a Grosse expert, so I also can’t determine if the 3/8 inch accent beads are real turquoise, a composite, ceramic or glass. I did discover that Grosse sometimes did use real stones in their jewelry. Please view all pictures. Quarter coin is for additional size reference. Very collectible, wearable, hard to find piece in really nice vintage condition. Comes with gift box not original to the piece.
