Art Colortone process - •Colors: The process used cyan, magenta, yellow, key (black), and a darker blue. •Printing: The process used zinc plates instead of lithographic stones to print the inks. •Retouching: Each card was retouched by artists to enhance the image. •Linen: The postcards were printed on linen finish stock, which has a waffle-like pattern that helps the ink absorb more quickly and preserves the colors.
