Greek Screaming Man Stone Bookends MCM Vintage

This pair of superb relief Rococo mascarons in a traditional screaming man portrait. This a charming pair of vintage decorative bookends, with a distinctive appearance. A treat for the avid reader. A pair of stone (Marble or Onyx) bookends in classical taste, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940. These were handmade in Greece, so they are not identical; there are variations of color, making them even more fascinating with a striking appearance.
