So I wore this as a bridesmaid dress but could really be worn for anything because it is so simple and elegant. Only worn once, no flaws. I would say it fits as a true small, it fits me perfectly (I usually wear a S-M, bra size 34B, pant size 26). I’m 5’2 and it was a little long in the back so I wore 2ish inch heels and it was all good. Because of the high-low style of it, rather than one length all around, it looks cute with any height.
