Hi! What makes this a practice dress versus a competition dress?

@bo2911 This dress is for standard practice only. Standard comp dresses have large flowing gowns with layers, floats. Under 12 - Simple leotard with attached skirt or separate dress. standart Skirts should be below the knee-length, Latin just above, with no slits, fringe. Fabrics are stretchy and plain (jersey, lycra), solid colors, no embellishment. Or rhinestones. After 12 years old can be any design. Hope it helps. I am sure your daughter”s coaches can make suggestions.
