It is black velvet, thick velvet, pointed sleeves, open very wide, very long with rope sash in the front , a long zipper.in the back has a beautiful train in the back ! I purchased this dress in Salem Massachusetts from the store owned by Salem mass witch Laurie Cabot. It’s extremely RARE ! Most GORGEOUS! It’s Vintage By now I only wore it but one time to a Halloween ball at the Hawthorne hotel, which is haunted.
