Gorgeous artisan abalone shell and brass manatee necklace

Another gorgeous necklace from my mother in laws collection. The necklace has a large polished abalone shell pendant with a carved brass manatee situated at the top of the shell. I have searched the internet to find anything close to this design and have found no other necklace even remotely like this one. The lobster claw clasp reads 925 silver. The shell is very shiny with tones of mauve, brown, purple and green. The beads are a shiny gun metal gray and could be metal of some type.
